HOW WE OVERCAME, ORCHESTRATED OUTCOME:
- The demolition work was coordinated to be performed during winter break in order to not disturb the students during the exam periods.
- Temporary walks were built in order to accommodate students with special needs and to keep the students out of the mud and wet areas. Special care was taken to not let the ground runoff leave site by digging French drains and dewatering the site with pumps and silt bags into the storm water management pond behind the dinning and event center.
- Export materials were removed immediately and import materials were delivered just in time. Traffic was maintained using flagmen and the trucks were staggered as to not create traffic.
